Rafting

The Sai Yai river, which originates in the Khao Yai National Park, offers white water rafting during the wet season from May through to November. The rafting trip involves driving 5 km to the National Park car park and then walking 3 km along a nature trail past Kang Hin Poeng to the top of the rapids. The rafts typically have two crew and can hold up to eight passengers. The rapids range from Class 3 - 5 (intermediate - expert level) with six rapids to navigate, all six have lifeguard stations. The rafting trip will take a total of 4 hours including coming back to Anantrapura on the raft along the slower part of the river.
